I am Ashes Wednesday I am an artist, filmmaker, comic book artist, painter extraordinaire, rockstar, fetish photographer and all around character, superhero and arrogant to boot. No, not arrogant. Very sexy. heeheeheehee If you were as handsome as me wouldn’t you be this arrogant? Are you really writing that? Gosh, stop, that I thought you were joking. Okay. But seriously, I’m an artist and I’m sexy.
What’s 180 Days?
180 Days of Sodom, which is technically called Tota Destructa, is my outlet to make electronic music at the moment… all my own without feeling weird. Also, I’m one of two of The Thundersluts. We just the most awesome band, ever. We’re a art noise band.
Also, I’m in Calamity Box. It’s sad music. I don’t think there is one happy song I ever made with Calamity Box. It’s like cutting down the razor’s edge; or whatever that means…

Tell us your filmmaking influences. Who do you admire?
Kubrick, Dario Argento – pretty amazing, Orson Wells. Robert DePalma but some of his movies make me irritated, but I love it. Michele Gondry, Chris Cunningham, Nolan Rudi, and so many others.
Myself, but I’m a terrible filmmaker, but I love my cartoons. I like what I am aspiring to. My imagination is way better than my films are. But, I’m getting there, I hope.
Fellini kinda, Polanski, I don’t know I could sit here and talk about film all day. Yay Cartoons rule btw, Akira Kowasawa – pretty amazing… Techi Mikki… scary awesome! Below is Fast Heart Mart, a really awesome band who hired me to do animation. And, they’re amazing!
Oh yea, mention cartoons, I love your cartoons, tell us about your favorite character in your work.
Well, right now, I’m working on Aleria Devilwind and all that nonsense. But to be honest, I’m not sure who is my favorite. Probably anyone I can draw that is cute and fun to draw. That sounds silly.
Though, the worlds I create are much more interesting as they have different dimensions far beyond the scope of one individual. I’ve been working on Aleria, and all that nonsense, for like a year now and still haven’t released episode 0. It’s hard to get people I like to do the voices. It’s hard to be a one man army and still work on everyone else’s projects. So, Yeah, I love cartoons. Wait, what was the question again? Nevermind. I suppose I am working on a few things that are top secret. Like my card game. My action figures. The Psychic cats. I miss her comics… and other things… KittyKitty2020 and the new Anathema Curses. Ooo, did I say that out loud?
How do you incorporate sexuality in your work?
See I wanna make more cartoons, wait, not just cartoons, art; for everybody. I can. I mean I am, but, to be honest everything I do has an element of sexuality. There’s nudity or there’s something. Sexuality is everywhere in the world. I mean people do it right. Sex is beautiful. It’s a thing. It’s part of me, life. Everybody. I guess what I am saying is I try to be a little more honest to everybody. I just want to make good work.
So, I really just end up making movies that I think are hot that just happen to have sex in it. I just want to make something good. I’m not sure. What is sexy anyway? As I travel around writing these damn books about sexuality I get more confused everyday. While things that didn’t turn me on before, I can see why it’s sexy now. Or,whatever, people are freaks too. I want to fuck them all. Wait, not all of them, just the hot ones. No, seriously, just the quality and hot ones. Just the one’s I really want. Or, maybe just the #1 girl for a perv like me.

So, I hear you make fetish films?
Well, I’ve been making fetish films for a while. But, now I am actually making them for public use. It’s fun. Or, surreal or weird and or totally fucking awesome. Learned a lot, seen things I wanted to see, seen things I didn’t want to see. Learned a lot of things. But yeah, fetish films, lots of fun.
I just made an exclusive scene for the Altporn Network’s ClubAlySinclair.com which was fun. It is a balloon fetish piece that has Aly playing with balloons, obviously, and masturbating. It’s called: [POP!]

Yea, it ends how you might imagine it would. Its fun. I like certain lighting aspects in it. And we do a real fun sequence I really like.

I love beer. Guinness is my favorite again this week. I was just living in Portland, the mecca of sound, where all the really good beer is from. And, music lives there too. Beer and music is the best. And, they may have marijuana there, which apparently is pretty good… Drugs are bad kids. Don’t do drugs. And, so is beer and alcohol. Apparently. But, seriously. I like Guiness. No, I love Guiness.
If you could change your name who would you be?
Well, in an Apocalyptic world, I’d like the name Z-Murder, I do. No, wait, X-Murder, Axe Murder who has a machine gun which shoots dragon nails. Hey, that’s what they have there. I’ll be driving around in a car shooting mutants…. But seriously, X-Murder, get with it. But, just call me Ashes Wednesday. But, after the Apocalypse, it’s on. Or if you’re lucky call me Amaris Crayn. Whatever. I have too many nicknames. or, something.
